Forest bath with Lisen Sundgren
Forest bath, or shinrin yoku, is a method that was developed in Japan in the mid-80s when the effects of the great urbanization led to stress and doctors saw an increase in stress-related diseases. A research group began researching how nature affects our brain and body and came up with astonishing results. They considered the cause of the illness to be "lack of nature". They developed a method where people could follow a guide in scenic surroundings and open their minds to what nature has to offer.
At a forest bath, you go out into the forest together with a guide who invites you to various exercises that have a beneficial effect on health and give an increased feeling of well-being. With calm also comes greater empathy, more creativity and better ability to work together.
