Birds of papier maché Creative workshops for children
With spring, a lot of life comes back again. Both plants and animals. We go out into the woods and look at different Swedish birds and then build our own birds from papier maché.
Practical information
- Weather and clothes: The event takes place partly outdoors so the children need to be dressed for the weather.
- Educators: 2 educators are responsible for a group of a maximum of 15 children. Parent can join at no extra cost.
- Food & beverage: Both Café & Konditori on the entrance level are open from 11 am to 5 pm. Both offer main courses, soups, sandwiches, hearty salads, pastries as well as drinks and pancakes for children.

Paint with homemade brushes
With the help of recycled and natural materials, we build our own brushes. We experiment and discover what patterns the different materials can create. With the whole body and our newly created brushes, we then paint on large sheets of paper.
Practical information

Forest parkour
Join a dance parkour through the forest. We jump on rocks, bounce against trees, do shots over snow-covered moss and have fun!
Parkour is a fast-paced, fun and entertaining activity based on moving from one place to another in as fast and smooth a way as possible. Test different jumps and rolls and learn to use obstacles to get ahead. To help you, you have the dance and yoga teacher Francesca Lindén (Dancelab) who offers various tricks and exercises to move smoothly in nature.
Practical information
- Weather and clothing: The events will be held outdoors, so it is important that the children are dressed for outdoor activities. Should the weather, on the day of the event, require it, parts of the activity may be moved to an indoor environment.
- Educators: 1 educator with an assistant is responsible for a group of a maximum of 15 children. A parent can join at no extra cost.
- Food & beverage: Both Café & Konditori on the entrance level are open from 11 am to 5 pm. Both offer main courses, soups, sandwiches, hearty salads, pastries as well as drinks and pancakes for children.
- Time and place: We gather in the courtyard just outside Artipelag's main entrance. At 14.00 we head out to nearby forest areas.
The event lasts about an hour.
